Is This Program Right for You?

This program is for people who want confidence in the food they buy, a simple process, and a direct connection to where their food comes from.

  • Want to stock your freezer once a year with pasture-raised pork you can trust
  • Enjoy cooking with well-raised meat and using the whole animal
  • Value a direct relationship with the farm raising your food
  • Appreciate the simplicity and security of one harvest and one pickup per year

How the Pork Share Program Works

1

Reserve your share with a deposit

2

Monthly payments spread the cost

4

Pick up your pork once, in the fall

3

Choose your cuts before processing

While you’re making payments, we’re raising your pig on pasture—rotating through woodland and forage,
managing health carefully, and sharing updates along the way—so everything is ready for the fall harvest and pickup.

What You Receive

Shares are offered in two sizes, depending on freezer space and household needs.

Whole Share (~150–170 lbs packaged meat)

  • A full variety of cuts, including chops, roasts, ribs, shoulder cuts, ground pork, and sausage
  • The option to choose how certain cuts are prepared before processing
  • Requires 6–8 cu ft of freezer space

Half Share (~75–85 lbs packaged meat)

  • The same mix of cuts as a whole share, divided proportionally
  • Packaged, vacuum-sealed, and freezer-ready, just like a whole share
  • Requires 3–4 cubic feet of freezer space

A detailed cuts and cooking guide is shared with customers before processing.

What Other Customers Say

“Excellent tasting pork! Good people! We ordered our first pig from them and we are very happy with the product and service all around. We were able to visit the farm prior to ordering and we were impressed with how the pigs were kept. They obviously deeply care about the health and welfare of the animals they raise. We will be ordering again. Highly recommend!”

Why This Is a Community‑Supported Pork Program

In a community-supported pork program, customers commit to the farm before the pigs are harvested, and the farm commits to raising those pigs with care, intention, and transparency. This shared commitment allows us to plan one harvest each year and focus on animal well-being rather than speed or high numbers. For customers, it means knowing where their pork comes from, how it was raised, and who is responsible for every step along the way.

Our pigs are raised slowly on pasture, with room to roam and forage, and we focus on preventative care rather than routine intervention. We manage a closed herd, prioritize low-stress handling, and feed a non-GMO ration that complements what the pigs find on pasture.

From Our Customers and Our Ranch

“The taste of the meat products from Jones Hill ranch can’t be beat and it was great to see first hand how the livestock was raised. Our last visit Eric and Sandy were very hospitable and took the time to answer any questions we had and made us feel like family. We will definitely be returning!!!.”

— Alan G., Pork Share customer

This program exists because we care deeply about how animals are raised and how food ends up on people’s tables. By working directly with families who value the same things, we can raise pigs in a way that feels honest, humane, and sustainable for the long term.

One ranch, one harvest, one shared commitment.
